Reverse Parallax

Shouldn’t parallax effect be reverse? Big front movement and few back movement (currently the opposite).
Focal point is in the infinite and not in our eyes is the argument.

    Hi HDN,

If you would like to reduce the amount of parallax, please navigate to WP AdminSettingsPage Builder and open the General Tab. Adjust the Limit Parallax Motion setting. Alternatively, consider using a fixed background.

    Hi HDN,

It really depends on the theme because unlike plugins, WordPress.org doesn’t feature the changelog on the theme page which makes it problematic for working out changes. Typically, developers will either link to the changelog or publicly develop on things like GitHub (here’s ours). What theme are you currently using?

    Hi Alex,

    I’m using SiteOrigin North.

Just an idea… wouldn’t be better to build a framework for parallax where content dimension is not a parameter? That way you can upload any image and the parallax effect/dynamics would hold. I’ve tested this and got different dynamics for different images but the same parallax scrolling parameter.

    Cheers.
