Restrict width of row background color with custom CSS

Hi

I’m trying to set up some rows with a different background color than the page body. When I do that the background color of the row extends to the edge of the screen.

I would like to restrict the width of the row background color so it’s “boxed in” but it seems that no matter what settings I try they do not affect the background color, only the content of the row.

I figured custom CSS is the way to go but I’m unsure what class I need to modify. The row layout is “Standard” and with inspector in Chrome I can see the class is supposedly called “panel-row-style”.

I’m not a total CSS novice but I’m not sure I’m turning the correct dials here ;-)

Hope you can help.

Sincerely
Julian

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Progrock,

To clarify, is this a full-width theme? Typically the standard layout is exactly what your after so it’s quite odd that it’s full width for you.

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.
