Responsive Navigation Menu Widget

Does anyone know how to make the default WP Navigation Menu Widget responsive within siteorigin layout builder?

I have a site for a university where we have the main horizontal menu at the top on all pages, but some pages also have a menu in the page content area in the sidebar. We are using the navigation menu widget to create these menus. When the page is on mobile the menu goes to the top of the page above the main content but we would like it to collapse and be responsive. Sometimes if we have several menu items, the content isn’t visible on mobile cause of the side nav menu

Is this possible?
