Hi Cas, just checked out your site and don’t see the Menu button as shown in your screenshot…

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Cas

I think this might be as a result of a plugin issue. If you disable Mega Menu does the issue resolve? You might need to disable the Vantage mobile menu in Appearance > Theme Settings and run with the mobile menu the plugin offers.

Yes I had it switched off, that is why Daryl couldn’t see it. I have Max Mega Menu in that part.

I added a “header-menu” manually in my child them. could that conflict with your header widget area?

look at the left. the mobile menu pops up.

Looking at the code it seems to be coming from your plugin. Some how your function to establish platform is “not” working on my site

    Hi, I Work Here

Have you tried disabling the Vantage Responsive Menu? You’ll find that setting under Appearance > Theme Settings > Navigation.

???Andrew c’mon, you are stalling! YES I just explained why DarylGriffiths didn’t see the issue!!! I DISABLED the responsive menu. But if I do I don’t have a responsive menu!! I WANT a RESPONSIVE menu.

    Please look into this issue!!

Max menu off – vertical txt menu

Header Menu – “select” vantage still selects a menu?

Seems Max menu and Vantage menu fight over that spot.

How do I get this resolved, I need Mega menus and responsive.

    Just thought about it/

is it an option to have a “responsive” menu setting for both menu areas?

    Primary Resp Y/N
    Header Resp Y/N

If I could switch off Header resp, max menu takes over the responsiveness.

May be take it a step further

    Yes No Hide

    Hi, I Work Here

You can either run with the Vantage menu in it’s entirety, both main and responsive or use a plugin and turn the Vantage responsive menu off. It’s this concept that I’ve been trying to explain but perhaps not clearly enough.

A menu plugin replacing the main Vantage menu unfortunately can’t work with the Vantage responsive menu.

When I re-size your site now I see the plugin’s responsive menu so turning off the Vantage responsive menu should resolve the issue.

Are you saying that the Vantage Responsive Menu link still appears even after de-activating the setting under Appearance > Theme Settings > Navigation.

If I turn it off The top menu isn’t responsive. Unfortunately I can only have one “max menu” with this plug in.

    Hi, I Work Here

Hi Cas. Can you perhaps drop me a mail with a copy of the plugin and the child theme you’re using – [email protected].

We’re at GMT-2 so I’ll only get to it tomorrow. Probably best for me to take a proper look at what’s going.

Question still remains why is it thinking it needs to show the responsive menu. We know the cause, we can repeat the error. But why, what is going on there?

Hi, a responsive ‘hamburger’ toggle was added to Max Menu yesterday (v1.3).
