Hi there,

I am trying to get Responsive Gallery Grid plugin to work with Vantage but to no avail. I have tested the plugin with twenty fifteen and it works fine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

    Hi John

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

Just navigate to Users > Add New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the “Send Password” field so we receive the details.

Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

    Hi there,

I have created the new user as per your request. The page is called
LOCATIONS and I have set up a temp gallery to illustrate the issue.
According to the plugin blurb, native wp galleries should be come a
Responsive Grid Gallery. An example of the effect I am looking to achieve is :http://bradfordfilmoffice.com/locations/

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

    Hi John,

I have just checked your site and this is what I would recommend.

You can use the Visual Editor widget to insert your widget. To get access to the Visual Editor widget, first install: http://wordpress.org/plugins/black-studio-tinymce-widget/. After inserting Visual Editor use the Add Media button to insert your gallery, as you would normally outside of Page Builder.

Alternatively you can use Tiled Galleries and the Carousel module in Jetpack to augment your gallery:

    http://jetpack.me/support/tiled-galleries/

Let me know if that will help you achieve desired look

I just discovered that the FooGallery and FooBox Free Image Lightbox plugins play nicely with the SiteOrigin Vantage theme. They seem pretty lightweight yet effective and mobile-responsive. I like the results.

      Hi Russ

Really glad to hear you made progress on this. Thanks for sharing your preferred plugin solution.

      All the best.

    Hi Andrew,

Here are the results, using unedited snapshots: http://abprf.com/?page_id=348

It’s a pleasure to run into such an easy to use plugin that (to coin a phrase) just works. Sorta like SiteOrigin’s products.

    Awesome :) Looks great!

Hey Russ – Thanks for your suggestion to use the Foo plugin and their lightbox extension. Works great!

I really like the Vantage theme but the galleries not being responsive was making me scratch my head.

In my experience I find the Jetpack plugin really bloated so I’m stoked you found this workaround.

    Cheers,
    Brad
