Resize Parallax image – responsive parrallax effect.

Hi Site Origin –

Thanks again for all the wonderful work you do – this plugin is epic.

I am wondering if there is a way to scale the parallax effect on mobile?
if you visit our Adelaide wedding photographers page you will see to parallax effect at work – both created by your plugin.

When i look on a mobile device or resize the window the image does not scale and is not responsive.

The hero image at the top of the page is one that I would like to target, the other half way down looks okay to me. I would like the width to be set at 100% of the window.

Is this possible?

Thank you in advance for all your help
Tony Lewis

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Tony,

CSS Backgrounds are automatically scaled to fit the size of the area they’re applied to rather than the content. The first parallax on the linked website isn’t scaling due to the spacers you’ve added which are still present on mobile devices. I would recommend opening up the Visual Editor (used to add the “Adelaide Weeding Photographers text”) and switch to Text Mode. Remove the two spacers you’ve added and then head over to the widget styles sidebar.

Open the Layout settings group and set the padding to 160px 0 200px 0 and then set a significantly smaller amount of padding for the mobile padding. The smaller the mobile padding is, the less the parallax will have to scale itself to fit the row.

That is amazing thank you so much! Im glad decided to re try your parallax, it has improved so much.

Is there a way to change the speed of the movement of the effect?

    Hi Tony,

You can adjust the movement of the parallax by navigating to WP AdminSettingsPageBuilder and open the General tab. Adjust Limit Parallax Motion as desired.
