Reposition widget in header

Hi,

I am trying to add text to header so that I can show organisation’s address beneath site-title. When I add a widget to header it positions itself to the right of the site title.

Ideally the address would automatically justify to be level with the left of site-title as page responds to resizing of browser window.

    Hi Lyrian

    Thanks for reaching out.

    It’s unfortunately not possible using theme options to insert text below the site title. The header text or header widget area will vertically center itself on the right of the header area.

    Hope that helps explain how the theme works in this regard. I’ve made a note of your request and marked this thread as feature request. Sorry we don’t have more on this.

    Thanks for your quick answer – would a way around it be to use the tagline to display the text I want below title. I’m hoping this is the case but I cant seem to get the tagline to display at all – can you tell me how I can bring the tagline back?

    Ideally it would be. This is currently logged on our side for attention. Unfortunately Vantage doesn’t support the tagline. It should though. I think the idea initially was that the header widget area or header text would be used for that functionality. Sorry I can’t be more helpful on this. The problem is due for attention, I just can’t say exactly when.
