Removing The Top Logo Section

10 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 10 years ago

Question:
Since Vantage is not capable of facilitating a completely different/unique Logo (header/masthead… or whatever you would like to call it) at the very top of individual pages. We want to eliminate all of the space that normally facilitates the top header/logo section. In other words, we will have no logo as normally facilitated by Vantage.

What we are going to try to do is use a narrow (maybe 200 pixels) single image in MetaSlider. The slider would not slide because we would only use one image, and it would appear to be at the top of our pages just below the Vantage menu items, thus making the menu items appear to be at the very top… if we can eliminate the top masthead all together… or down to a pixel or two.

Each page we create would have a unique single image using meta-slider acting like the logo.
The attached URL has a green banner image that is using meta-slider… we want it to be higher up, by elimination all or most of the masthead Vantage default space.

Any thoughts?
Thanks.

    Hi Oneminuteblues

    Thanks for reaching out.

Go to Appearance > Theme Settings > Layout and set the Masthead Layout to Logo in Menu. If you want the logo gone you can remove that from Appearance > Theme Settings > Logo. Should resolve the challenge.
