Removing sidebar for bbPress forum

4 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 4 years ago

I am setting up a bbPress forum on my website https://Lciweb.com and want to have no sidebar on the forum pages. I do not see the full-width page option on any of the forum or topic pages. But I do want to keep the sidebar on blog pages etc. How can I take them off of the bbPress pages only?
Thanks.

    Hi Buck

    Thanks for reaching out.

At AppearanceCustomizePage Template Settings you can use your website’s menu/navigation to navigate to a forum. A new Type: Forums option will appear. You can set No Sidebar there. There will be other instances that aren’t covered by this Page Template Settings section, for example, a topic. Using https://wordpress.org/plugins/widget-options/ is another way to go. You can proceed to AppearanceWidgets once the plugin is activated and set negative display conditions for each widget in your sidebar.
