Hello all,
Whats the most convenient way to remove the closing wrapper divs which are rendered, when retriebing the content of a Panels page?
In specific, i mean those 3, which are wrapped around my templates.
<div id="pl-603"><div class="panel-grid" id="pg-603-0" > <div class="panel-grid-cell" id="pgc-603-0-0" > <div class="so-panel widget widget_sow-slider widget_sow-slider panel-first-child panel-last-child" id="panel-603-0-0-0"><div class="so-widget-sow-slider so-widget-sow-slider-default-d75171398898">
Thanks for any hints
Hi sebs
Thanks for your question.
At the moment there, unfortunately, is no way to accomplish this from within Page Builder settings. At SettingsPage BuilderWidgets you can change the Widget Title HTML. At the moment, that’s the only setting of this nature included in Page Builder. Technically, anything is possible with Page Builder but the custom development required to achieve what you’re looking to do is, unfortunately, beyond the scope of support we’re able to offer here on the forums, sorry.
Hi Andrew,
Many thanks for your reply.
I simply changed function siteorigin_panels_render in the source code to get rid of the wrappers.
Glad to hear you’ve made progress. A quick reminder that all WordPress themes and plugins completely overwrite their own folder during updates so you’ll need to stick with this version of Page Builder to keep your change or reapply it after updates.
All the best :)
Hey Sebs,
can you give me a hint?
Looks like it don’t get it :/
Hey CiT,
You may find the heavily modified siteorigin_panels_render function attached, hope this helps to understand what we did. In the original function you find many echos which print the wrappers.
As mentioned, we changed plugin core files, therefore we will not be able to use any updates of the plugin.

Seems like its not possible to upload txt files here. Please check https://gist.github.com/anonymous/63c78e5db2463ff9cd00441112f7a50b
Thanks sebs, appreciate it.
