Remove Space Between Rows

Hi All, I have tried all the posted solutions for this but can’t seem to get a result.

Top row has a Hero widget and the row below has 3x Editor widgets with a background colour. I need to remove the space between the rows.

I have set the site wide bottom margin to 0 but this doesn’t fix it, set padding on both rows to 0, set top row’s bottom margin to 0 etc.

Any advice is welcome.

Nic

    Hi Nic,

    Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

    Hi Alex,

    Hopefully you can see the issue onPrivate Snippet

    Visable space between the 1st and second row. If I change the background colour of the top row (in which the Hero Widget lies) to the same colour as the send row, it will mask the issue. I have tried changing the site wide margin setting but it didn’t fix the issue.

    Any advice is welcome. Thank you.

    Hi Sshau,

    Unfortunately, I can’t seem to access the above page with the provided password – I tried with and without the full stop.

    I had a quick look at your home page as it’s likely similar in terms of settings. A lot of the spacing on that page is caused by row bottom margin. To adjust the row bottom margin please open the relevant row (the row just above the spacing) and head over to the row styles sidebar. Open the Layout settings group and set the Bottom Margin to 0.

    If you would like to globally adjust the bottom margin, please navigate to WP AdminSettinBuilderage Builer and open the Layout tab. Adjust the Row/Widget Bottom Margin setting.

    Hi Alex,

    I have changed the visibility to public so you should be able to view that page now without a password.

    I have the top row Bottom Margin and Padding set to 0.

    If I change the background colour of the top row to match the second row the issue is gone so this tells me it is an issue with the top row.

    Thank you.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Sshau,

    This spacing is being added by your theme to the slider due to it using lists to structure the data.

    You can change this with some custom CSS. If you navigate to AppearanceCustom CSS, you’ll get our custom CSS editor. Please add the following CSS:

    li.sow-slider-image {
    	padding-bottom: 0 !important;
    }

    You might also need to install the SiteOrigin CSS Editor.

    Hi Alex,

    If possible, can you please remove the website link in my above post?

    Thank you.
