I’m embedding a youtube video using oembed from the SiteOrigin Video Player and I use the ‘share url’ generated by youtube. That works fine, but the problem is that I would like to remove the related videos that appear at the end of the video.
If I use the ’embed’ option in youtube, I can tick a box to have ?rel=0 appended to the url and that works fine within an iframe, but I would like to have the same functionality when using oembed, if possible…so that I don’t have to resort to using an iframe.
I have tried to add ?rel=0 to the ‘share url’, but that does nothing. I’m not sure if that’s because share urls are not meant to work like that or if the plugin is getting rid of it.
Is there a way to display an embedded youtube video using your plugin without showing these related videos at the end?

That widget makes use of the WordPress oEmbed functionality so yeah you’re right; that should work. As such I’ve forwarded this to the development team.
