Remove Overlay from a Hero Image

7 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 7 years ago

Hey! I am having an image which is already with text content and the overlay is making it look dull and dark. Is there a way I can remove the Image overlay.I am using a site origin Hero Image builder.

I have already tried the below commands under the Additional CSS, but both of them it did not work:

#custom-header::after {
background: none;
}

and

#masthead #custom-header::after {
background: none;
}

Can you please assist.

    Hi Vasudha

    Thanks for reaching out :)

    Try editing each frame in the Hero and locate the Background Image Opacity setting. Change it to 100.

    Hi, please could you send me an export of the page. Edit the page, click LayoutsImport/ExportDownload Layout, bottom right. Please upload the JSON file to WeTransfer or Dropbox or similar service. I’ll then take a quick look locally. Thanks :)
