Remove metaslider shortcode on homepage?

Hello I have been having issues with the metaslider and my menu system not working right with Vantage.

I currently have replaced the slider with HUGE IT slider. I am noticing though in the upper left there is still a shortcode there.

I was given the option to troubleshoot why my submenus were not working with metaslider but heard nothing back.

    Hi Mike

    So sorry for missing that reply, it someone slipped through my usual notifications.

    The shortcode is most likely being outputted by theme options. Check Appearance > Theme Settings > Home the slider drop down should be set to None. Also check Pages > Home, the slider drop down in the right column should also be set to none.

    Hi again. I just went back and checked. Hopefully we didn’t miss each other. I started with what I thought might be the first steps for troubleshooting the Meta Slider issue here:

    Thread: Vantage Premium – Submenus stopped working

    If Huge slider is working then I’d stick with that. If you want to take a look at Meta Slider, give those steps a try and we’ll try take it from there. I’m back online again tomorrow.

    That seemed to fix the shortcode. I went in and saw it said non but then made it the demo, saved and then went to non again. The shortcode is gone.
