Remove category overlay on photos using post-loop-widget

I am using the post-loop-widget and specially the blog grid option. I would like the images to appear without the category overlay on the photo. Is there a way to do that?

    Hi Matt

    Which template are you using within the Post Loop Widget? You might try the Blog Widget as it has many options to choose from. Depending on the theme you’re using the Post Loop Widget will likely lean on the theme’s Blog settings in the Customizer if it’s a SiteOrigin theme.

    Thanks for your reply.

    I am using the Unwind theme.

    I don’t have the Blog Widget available – I think that’s only with the premium version?

    However, using Blog options in customiser I was able to remove them by unchecking 'Categories on single and archive posts’.

    If you have the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle installed you can head over to PluginsSiteOrigin Widgets to enable the Blog Widget. Glad to hear the Customizer settings helped with the Post Loop Template.
