Remove Blog Content from Search Results

11 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 11 years ago

I’m trying to remove the blog content (recent posts, recent comments, etc.) from my site’s Search results display page. I found this article to https://siteorigin.com/thread/vantage-premium-search-return-page/ and have it set to Full Page but now the blog content displays below the search results. I used the script for the second method. Is there script to hide the blog content from the Search results page?

Thanks

    Hi chcox_2cid,

This is unfortunately plugin domain. Vantage isn’t controlling the results output, that’s handled by the WordPress core. You’d need to checkout some of the search plugins and see if you can find one that suits your needs:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/

We unfortunately haven’t done any testing here so don’t have one to recommend.

I will check into available plugins. Thanks for the quick response.

For sure. If you feel up for it, let us know if you find a good one.
