Hi there,
There seems to be some CSS remnants from an earlier version of our site that I can’t get rid of, and consequently Webmaster Tools identifies it as “Not Found”. The code in question is the URL: http://lerouxassociates.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/check.png, which no longer exists, but I can’t figure out how to remove it. From what I can tell below, it’s suggesting that the URL is the location of our site’s background image? This however, can’t be the case, as there is no image selected when customizing the site’s appearance. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Wesley
Please try going to Appearance > Customize > Theme Design > Footer > Footer Background Image. It looks like check.png is saved there.
Hope that helps.
Hi Andrew, that’s the unusual thing. When I navigate to the Footer Background image selection panel, it’s displays as empty, and asks if I’d like to choose one.
Not sure how to resolve this?
I’m not sure either. Doesn’t look like you’re running a caching plugin. That was one possibility. Have you tried adding a new image to the setting and then removing it?
That did the trick, cheers.
Super, glad to hear you made progress :)
