reducing space between rows in Page builder

I am trying to reduce the space between rows when using page builder. I have gone into settings and tried everything, even zero, and I am not seeing any significant reduction in the space between the rows.

I also found the following in the forums. It did reduce the the space between the first row and the slider but did noting for the space between the first row and the second row.

Why cant this be done in settings? Am I doing something wrong?

    Hi Mike

    Thanks for reaching out. Consider removing the Custom CSS you mention above, if it isn’t helping this challenge then best remove it.

    Have you tried adjusting Settings > Page Builder > Layout > Row Bottom Margin? If you have, please, let us know which row you’d like us to inspect as an example. Thanks.
