Reduce Padding Between Meta slider and visual editor

Hello, I am using Vantage Premium can you please help me? I have some empty space on my home page between the Meta slider and the visual editor which contains some text. I have entered some coding into Custom CSS that has been suggested in other post, but has not worked. Do you have any suggestions please? Thank you in advance for your help.

I also have a problem with Jetpack. I read on a post about having a carousel pop up when you click onto an image on a page and Jetpack was suggested. I want a slide show of all the pictures I have on the page to appear when any picture is clicked. I am very new to this so am unsure what to do. I downloaded Jetpack, but am unable to see the media gallery carousel in the plugins. I would really appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Mandy

    Thanks for the wait.

    Please, try this:

    Remove your slider from Page Builder.
    Add it instead via Appearance > Theme Settings > Home > Home Page Slider.

    Once you’ve installed and connected Jetpack you can go to Jetpack > Settings and activate Tiled Galleries and Carousel. Carousel only works with galleries. You can insert a gallery in Page Builder using the Visual Editor > Add Media button and create a gallery from there, works with a single image gallery too.

    Hope that helps explain what that Jetpack module does.

    Hi Andrew,

    Thank you so much for responding to my queries. I have done as you suggested with the Home Page slider and that has solved the problem. Thank you, although I had to click on the stretch the home page slider because both sides of the slider showed up in a different colour. Is there any way of me changing the colour.

    I think maybe I did not explain myself properly what I was looking for. I did some research of other websites to get some ideas and I saw on one that you could click on an image and a pop up would appear with a slideshow of all the images on that page. It didn’t take up the whole page and had arrows which you could use to go through the slideshow, also had a close button. I would like to do this to each of the images I have on my pages. Would this be possible to do? I am new to web design, I really appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks again.

    I do have a new query, but I know I have to start a new thread. I will do that once I have sorted this one.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Glad to hear you’ve made progress :)

    If you’d like to set the background color of the slider container you can do so by adding the following to Appearance > Custom CSS:

    /* Main Slider */

    #main-slider {
    	background: #eeeeee;
    }

    There are many plugins that’ll let you add a carousel lightbox. My preferred combination is:

    http://jetpack.me/support/tiled-galleries/
    https://jetpack.me/support/carousel/

    Carousel is the module you’re after but Tiled Galleries is a nice addition. Carousel only works with WordPress galleries but you can create a one image gallery. To insert a gallery via Page Builder just add a SiteOrigin Editor widget or Visual Editor widget and use the Add Media button to add a gallery.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you so much for your help I really appreciate it. I have sorted it all out now by using carousel lightbox. Just trying to make the box and image a bit bigger, Thanks again.

    I have started another thread:

    I hope you can help me again :-) Thanks
