Redirection problems of pages

we are a register user for yout theme at www.bclose.pt we have a problem when we active the blog page , home page goes to blog instead goint to institucional home page.

if you type bclose.pt at google home page goes to www.bclose.pt/pt/ (this is blog page not HOME page) and we need to go to http://www.bclose.pt/pt/home/ instead.

Can you help us on this item, we are gladly create user acess to you for direct intervention if possible.

    Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

    Just navigate to Users > Add New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the “Send Password” field so we receive the details.

    Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

    Ideally you wouldn’t use /home in each case. You’d just use:

    http://www.bclose.pt/pt/
    http://www.bclose.pt/en/

    Etc.

    Let me take a look and we’ll see if we can help out :)

    Hi Andrew please acess with: Private Snippet

    Home banner from Meta slider is missing with all this and now we have our site also stuck, Yestrday Home meta slider Banner was there at 3 languages and now is missing.

    Our help is required to :
    1- include metaslider again at 3 languages like it was before.
    2- make home page “HOME” and not blog page (“homePage” ) for http://www.bclose.pt (search at google and you will understand).

    Thanks.

    My first recommendation is turn Appearance > Home Page OFF, toggle switch at the top and just work from the Page Builder tab at: http://www.bclose.pt/wp-admin/post.php?post=2820&action=edit.

    Next, edit http://www.bclose.pt/wp-admin/post.php?post=2820&action=edit, in the right column there is a Page Slider metabox, set that for each language. Each page should let you set a new slider.

    When I search your URL in Google, the first result is:

    Bclose | Soluções de Segurança, Saúde e Energia
    http://www.bclose.pt/
    O Bclose é uma plataforma digital que proporciona o controlo e monitorização de dispositivos à distância e em tempo-real através do seu telemóvel ou tablet.

    Could you perhaps clarify what the problem is you’re seeing in that regard is.

    Hello Andrew , terrific Help, we already manage to put online banner Thanks you a lot.

    What is missing is the pointers from site, sending the text you sended from clicking on google was decisive!

    In fact it seems that is a thing with google.pt and google.com, we see different things on google search engine.
    I will send you 2 images one from our google.pt search and the page.
    IF you take a good look portugal google page send us to http://www.bclose.pt/pt (were the blog is) and not to http://www.bclose.pt/pt/home were home page is. This Reply forum does not allow me to include attach files i will try to reply to your email with it.

    Follows the images , one from search query and other from the result once you click at the link.

    http://www.bclose.pt/pt is the location of the blog (picture2) and we need to be http://www.bclose.pt/pt/home

    mainly is this.

    Glad to hear you’ve been making progress.

    I’m not sure this is a theme level question. If you’re using Polylang then that will be the plugin handling your URLS with regards to the home pages. I did take a look around but didn’t come across anything obvious. I do see the problem, this should be your PT home page: http://www.bclose.pt/pt/ instead, this page is http://www.bclose.pt/pt/home/. At least I think that’s what you’re saying. If you had to switch themes I think you’d have the same challenge. Perhaps Polylang support forum could assist further?

    Hi Andrew, sorry to bother with this issue, but we still have this thing on our back, all portuguese google searchers are going to blog page instead home page, the situation is exactly what you described, i try polylang support but is tuff to find.. can you please make a last incursion on our site in order to try to understand? It’s probalbly a Polilang problem but maybe you sort it out and we can be Up again.

    Is this perhaps not the main challenge:

    http://www.bclose.pt/wp-admin/options-reading.php

    There is no static Front page set. Can you perhaps look at this setting and do a little testing. I think at this stage you probably have a lot more Polylang experience than I do but my guess is that we need to set a static home page in the primary lang.
