Recommended Logo Size

Greetings. I reviewed https://siteorigin.com/vantage-documentation/getting-started/uploading-your-logo/ and I don’t see any recommended logo size. I’m working on creating a logo and would like to know if there is any recommendation for the logo? 200px x 200px maybe?

    Hi Lery

    There is no recommended logo size. For interest sake, the logo you see in the Vantage demo: http://demo.siteorigin.com/vantage/, that’s 181 x 40px.

    If you use the Logo in Menu masthead layout the logo is currently constrained. From Vantage 2.3.4 there will be a setting to undo this constraint. If you use this layout right now you can undo the constraint using the following under Appearance > Custom CSS:

    /* Vantage Remove Logo in Menu img constraint */
header#masthead.masthead-logo-in-menu .logo > img {
max-height: none !important;
}

    Remember there is a header padding setting at Appearance > Customize > General > Header Padding. The best is to experiment a little and find the best size for your logo.
