Hello, I’ve looked through all the the theme attributes and settings and not finding a solution. I’ve searched this forum for similar topics and see none so here I am.
I’m using the Snapshot Premium theme to organize photos, video, and writing from my various motorcycle trips around the planet. I have a photo roulette category that I use for the slider and love the functionality.
However, I’m using separate categories for my individual motorcycle trips and I just realized when I’m reading a post with in a category (ie Latin America Tour) and use the next post arrow (not sure what this is called) I will see a post from a different category (ie Photo Roulette).
I would like to be able to read the posts with in a category sequentially without seeing posts from other categories. Is this possible??
Here is my blog:

Thanks in advance.
Mark.
Hi Mark
Thanks for running Snapshot.
Please try installing this child theme from Appearance > Themes > Add New: Upload Theme and let me know how it goes:
https://siteorigin.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/snapshot-child-nav-in-cat.zip
Thanks, I’ve installed the theme and it doesn’t appear to do anything. When I am reading a post with in the Latin America Tour category and navigate to the next (or previous) post using the arrow it will display the post in the next date sequence which means category has no bearing.
I was hoping there would be a setting somewhere (ie in Categories) that would allow as to toggle b/w date sequence versus category sequence or something to that effect. Does this make sense?
What I did with the child theme was restrict the post navigation to a category level. Please send through a set of temporary login details to [email protected] and I’ll take a look and make sure my modification is working as it should.
Email sent. Thanks Andrew.
Thanks!
