Putting the menu links for my website into a specific area of the masthead on Vantage

11 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 11 years ago

Hi,

I initially had my menu links sitting underneath the masthead of my website, but I now want to put them alongside the title in the masthead, ON TOP OF the image that is currently taking up the whole masthead across the top of the page. I inserted a custom menu widget into the header section and the menu has appeared in the masthead…but it has arranged itself in a verticle line cutting through the masthead and down beyond the masthead. Is there any way to specifically arrange these menu links to the right hand side in several orderly rows?

Many thanks,
Jack

    Hi Jack

    Some styling looks to be missing there for that custom menu widget. It’s hard to find the problem without viewing the site.

    What you might consider is this. At Appearance > Theme Settings > Layout, change your Masthead Menu to Logo In Menu. Then add the following to Appearance > Custom CSS to ensure your logo renders at full size:

    /* Vantage Remove Logo in Menu img constraint */
    header#masthead.masthead-logo-in-menu .logo > img {
    max-height: none !important;
    }
