When I create a new blog page and write a new blog post I hit publish, but when I go to see the new blog on my site it just says “page cannot be displayed.” It has done this for all 4 of the posts I have created. I see the blog intro paragraph on my home page, but when I click on that it goes to the page cannot be displayed page. Can you tell what I am doing wrong and how I can get my full blog post to appear on my blog page? Thanks for your help.
Hi David
Not sure I’ve seen this before. All posts link to the same URL. Go to Settings > Permalinks, hit Save and see if that changes anything.
Here is what I get when I click on the the title of my blog on found on my home page:
That page can't be found.
It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try one of the links below or a search?
I went to Settings > Permalinks and I have "custom structure" saved for my common settings. Should I change this or not? Thanks for your help.
Hi David
Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:
[email protected]
Just navigate to Users > Add New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the “Send Password” field so we receive the details.
Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.
