Hello,
We have been using and loving SiteOrigin for a while now. Sadly, the most recent updates are causing problems with a client’s website. The Widget, Customizer, Themes, Plugins and other areas become unresponsive. After thorough testing and installing a different theme, the problem still exists.
We are currently running 5.1.1 on the website. Is there a pending update coming out? Or are there known confliction problems with other plugins?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dee
Sorry to hear you’ve run into a problem. There aren’t any know issues of the nature you’ve described. Please, try running the below plugin conflict test to see if you can establish a working baseline.
This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
Thank you for your reply. I will try testing the plugins again, this time leaving SiteOrigin active first only.
For sure :) Let us know how it goes.
