Hi,
I am currently trying to create a website using a theme called “Barberia”. I have been having problems with pagebuilder not working correctly. I can’t add new rows or widgets when using pagebuilder. All of the default content of the theme shows in the visual and text editor, so there is no content showing to edit in the pagebuilder.
On top of that, the website will not update with new content if I try to change it using the visual or text editor. It always shows the default content that came with the theme.
I have tried deactivating all plugins besides pagebuilder and it still does not work. The only thing that allows the website to show new content is when I deactivate pagebuilder, however this causes the entire styling of the theme to not show when viewing the website.
I am not sure if this is more of a problem with pagebuilder or with the theme, but I have contacted the theme providers and they have not responded so I’m seeing if I can find any answers here.

No, not at all. You will however need to connect to your website via FTP to make the required changes to potentially resolve this issue. I would recommend giving this article a read for information on how to do this. It also includes a video that will explain how to edit wp-config.php also.

I went ahead and made those changes to the wp-config, they did not seem to work. Is there anything else we can do?

I don’t know how I didn’t notice this before but… the version of SiteORigin Page Builder you have installed is a fork (a version based on our code but not actively developed by us) of an older version of SiteOrign Page Builder that doesn’t support WordPress 4.5. :( I was not aware that your theme had one or I would have already mentioned this. I would recommend contacting your theme developers and report the compatibility issue with 4.5. Make sure to reference that the latest version of SiteOrgin Page Builder has support for WordPress 4.5.

Thank you very much for the help. Our theme provider has mentioned that they are working on updating their theme, but has not provided any actual support yet, so it looks like we will be waiting a bit before the issue can be resolved. Thank you again!
