Installer Problem working with Page Builder – grey screen of death
Hello,
My site uses both Page Builder and bbPress. A couple of days ago I noticed that I can’t actually edit the pages of my site. When I click edit, the screen goes entirely grey, example here. After some troubleshooting I found out that the grey screen goes away if I turn Page Builder off. This creates another problem though, I can’t edit my Page Builder pages without Page Builder on, obviously. What do I need to do to get the two of these working together again so I can get back to updating my website?

2Can anyone help me please? The problem seems to lie within the Page Builder Plug in itself. Whenever it is activated, I get that grey screen. If it is off, I don’t. What can I do to make it work?

Unfortunately, I can’t seem to replicate this issue. As such, I suspect there’s another plugin conflicting with SiteOrigin Page Builder (and likely bbPress) and causing this issue.
Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
