Problem with WP 6.4+

Hi, with 6.4 and 6.4.1 we are having problems with SOME content, some posts and pages with Page Builder content are not marked as a “SiteOrigin Page Builder” type and when opened, they load PB interface, I can open widgets and change content, but this will not get saved even though WP says it was saved ok. Also the editor is located in Guttenberg fullscreen style inteface of WP, the correct pages and post get opened in classic style interface and possibility to “revert to Editor”.

I have no idea how this happened, but prior to 6.4 it was not a problem, everything was saved ok in both cases.

If I look at HTML content in the database, I can see difference – the problematic ones have in the content commented PB info in block starting with <!– wp:siteorigin-panels/layout-block {"panelsData":{"widgets":[{"title":"","text":"

The "correct" ones have only simple content in the content and PB info is in post metadata under "panelsData"…

So First – I do not know how did we managed to create these "mutants", which are not marked as a PB type in the posts/pages list. And more problematic is that after 6.4. everything is ok, but WP lies about saving the content, which remains the same..

    Hi, I Work Here

Hi, thanks for posting your question.

The issue pages have been created in the Block Editor within a SiteOrigin Layout Block. We’re working through a WP 6.4 issue relating to the SiteOrigin Layout Block. An update will be released ASAP. As soon as the Layout Block is resolved, you can migrate the above pages back to the classic format by opening the Layout Block, clicking LayoutsImport/ExportDownload Layout. Then using the Classic Editor plugin to open the page, clear the page contents, click on the Page Builder tab, and import the JSON layout file via LayoutsImport/ExportImport Layout in Page Builder.
