Hello,
I use your Vantage theme with WordPress 5.1. After updating WordPress to 5.1, I also updated Vatage the to 1.9 version. I have problems with the translations of my pages. I use the plugin Polylang to obtain the translation between French and English. Each page in French is connected with another page in English.
Since the two updates I have made, the English pages are also in French. And if I translate in English one more time, it changes in English the corresponding French page ! It is like there were only one page.
I have first asked to Polylang, if the problem is coming from them, but they response no, so it could be you !
Can you please verify, my web site is www.passiflores.fr . There is only one page that is running well, in French and in English.
Best regard, and thank you for your answer.

Hi JeanMarc,
Unfortunately, we haven’t received any other reports of this issue occurring so we’re not too sure why this is happening.
Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
Hi Alex,
I have disabled all non-SiteOrigin plugins except Polylang, and the problem is always present.
I repeat that all was working well, and I have made only 2 changes before having the problem :
– Update the theme Vantage
– Update WordPress
Hi JeanMarc,
Are there any pending updates for any SiteOrigin plugins? I ask because based on the provided list it sounds like you may be using an outdated version of (for example) SiteOrigin Page Builder. If you do have an outdated SiteOrigin plugin, please update that plugin to see if that helps.
There was only SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle using outdated version. It is now updated, but there is no result ! It is always the same.
Hi JeanMarc,
Does this issue occur with new pages or does it only affect pre-existing pages?
I have tested with new pages. I had 1 page not translated in English. Wen I stay in classic editor, I have 1 page in French, and 1 in English, with different content. It is only text a few words.
But when I use Page builder, with a SiteOrigin Editor, the same words (For example in French) are copied on the both pages.
Hi JeanMarc,
To confirm, is this issue only occurring for you while using the Block Editor or does it only occur while using the Classic Editor?
I dont use Block Editor, because I was used with your SiteOrigin Editor. And the problem is with SiteOrigin Editor.
When using Block Editor, There is no problem.
Hi JeanMarc,
Unfortunately, I can’t seem to replicate this issue. Are there any other pending updates? If so, please try them.
Also, can you please clarify what Polylang said when you emailed them about this?
All the plugins are updated.
Here is the email of Polylang :
Bonjour Jean-Marc,
Nous ne reproduisons pas ce problème de notre coté.
Vous avez peut être un conflit avec un tiers comme un thème ou un plugin.
Très cordialement,
Marianne
Did you see my problem on my web site ? dis you try to have the same problem on your computer ?
Hi JeanMarc,
Thank you for including a copy of the Polylang email in your reply. Unfortunately, we’ve been unable to replicate/reproduce this issue either. Are you able to replicate this issue on another site?
I don’t have any other site.
I have started the rebuild my pages with block Editor, and using sometimes siteOrigin Layout. It is a hard work !
