Problem with the menu bar.

11 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 11 years ago

Hi, Im am trying to add more items to my menu bar. But when I try to add one more item, the whole menu and sub menu structure just disappear and all the items appear in the page. How can i fix it?

Btw I already deactivated all the plugins but the problem continues.

    Hi velasquez966

Please head to Appearance > Menus, ensure you have a custom menu saved to the theme’s primary location. Next head to Appearance > Updates and run any pending updates. If the problem persists then de-activate all of your plugins at once, I’ve read your thread but not everyone does this check by turning off all plugins in one go. See how you go from there.

Additionally, if you’re running a child theme, revert to the parent theme. If you’re running Custom CSS, remove it.

Sorry for my lack of knowledge, but child theme?

No problem. If you aren’t familiar with child themes then it’s unlikely that you’re running one so you can just focus on the other points.
