hi,
i’m having a problem with editing a new text widget or the site origin editor in the page builder.
When using text links in my text, after saving the page then re-opening the page editor,
i get the following message within the editor:
Service Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
Only occurs with html text links, not with “text only” or other html like strong etc.
I’ve cleared all caches, re-installed the page builder, still no luck.
Any idea anyone?
Thanks!
Hi Michael,
This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
Hello Alex,
thanks for your reply. I think, there is no plugin conflict.
Seems that it has to do with my host/provider as it occurs only
from time to time, no all the time. Maybe the host has problems
to deliver some data right in time, so the page builder has problems
to load stuff the right way. Trying to investigate a little more…
