Problem with Snapshot theme after update

Hi,
I am running a blog on WordPress 4.5.2 and Snapshot theme. Since I updated to the recent Snapshot theme version, my “Edit Post” page is completely screwed up. I can’t switch between “Visual” and “Text” and all the items from the toolbar (fontsize etc) disappeared. If I change to a different theme, everything is fine. Do you have an idea how I can fix this?
Best,
David

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi David,

This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

Thanks for the advice, Alex. I will test that as soon as I find the time. For now I downgraded to Snapshot 1.3 and everything works fine.

    Hi David,

That’s fine. Let me know when you’ve run the test.

    Hello,

Same problem for me. I have done a fresh install of WordPress 4.5.2. Before installing the Snapshot 1.4 theme, everything is good. But as soon as I install the snapshot theme, I have the same issues described by David when adding or editing a post (everthing works well with “pages”) : all the items from the toolbar (fontsize etc) disappeared and I can’t switch between “Visual” and “Text”.

I tried as you suggest : deactivating the plugins. But as it is a fresh install of wordpress, I only have the standard ones. Anyway, I deactivated ALL the plugins, clear my caches on Internet Explorer… but it does not help.

If I install and activate another theme (or activate one of the standard theme), it works. But as soon as I reactivate the snapshot theme, the button in the post editing disappear.

Could you please help us as I would really try this theme !

    Thanks in advance,
    Jeremy

Sorry : I said “as soon as I install the snapshot theme, I have the same issues described by David…”. No… the right sentence is “as soon as I ACTIVATE the snapshot theme…”

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi David,

I’ve spotted the issue and logged it. Please use this hotfixed version until the fixed version is pushed out. Very sorry about this!

Thanks, Alex. I just installed the hotfixed version. Seems to work so far. Thank you for the great support!
