Hello there!

I’m building a site with Vantage Theme and I’m with a problem with SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle. I need it to build some features on my site but when I activate this plugin, my Elementor plugin stops to work and give me the message “Sorry, the content area was not found on your page. You must call ‘the_content’ function in the current template, in order for Elementor to work on this page.”

I’ve tried to unninstal and reinstal but it keeps happening and I don’t know what to do. I need both of the plugins and in my localhost it used to work with no problems.

I would be glad if anyone could help me with it.

Thanks!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Felipe,

That’s odd. Does this happen on all pages for you or only with a specific page? If it’s a specific page, what sort of page are you editing? Is there something different about this page?

Can you try disabling all plugins but the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle and Elementor and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    Hey Alex!

Thanks for answering me! I’ve just updated the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugin and it’s working now. I cleared the cache as well but I couldn’t edit either at work or in my personal notebook, so I guess the problem was solved with updating the plugin.

Thanks a lot for your helping.

    Best regards
