Hi,
After automatic WordPress update to 4.6.2, my site is completely broken: http://www.fondationportocapitale.org.
I use the Site Origin Page builder with Specia wordpress theme, but after update all my content was moved to editor. When I moved back to page builder, all my setup was gone and my content was put in 1 row.
Is there a way to fix this?…
Hi Fabrice,
This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
Hi Mr Alex
Thanks for reply.
I tried what tou said but nothing changed. The result is the same.
Hi Fabrice,
To clarify, does this issue occur site wide or only for specific pages? Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look?

Sorry for my approximativ english
Hi Fabrice,
I had a quick look around your site and I can’t seem to spot anything majorly wrong with anything. Can you please link me to a page where this issue is occurring (ideally one that hasn’t been touched – resaved)? Also, can you please clarify what you were doing at the time things went wrong. Did it just happen or id it happen after saving? I ask as I can’t seem to forcefully break the content (which is typically really easy on sites with easy).
Hello Mr Alex.
In attached view, I see you how my site look like before the matter accured. It’is screeshot of my localsite.
The problem happen as soon as WordPress make an automatic update. So I just connect to my homepage and see that everything has broken down. I was doing anything.
One page that hasn’t been touched is http://www.fondationportocapitale.org/actualites/
Also, an other problem is that all word with accent has break and changed with thing like « Bénin » in place of « Bénin ».
I can try to re-upload my local file but as soon as WordPress update, the site break down.
Hi Fabrice,
Hm. Would it be possible for you to provide me with a copy of your local site so I can run some tests with the unbroken site? This should hopefully allow me to work out the reason why it’s breaking on update for you.
OK. How can I send you the local site ?
Hi Fabrice,
Would it be possible for you to archive it and upload it to OneDrive like you did with the above images? Do you have Dropbox?
Hi Fabrice,
Actually, if possible, could you make a backup of the site using Duplicator? It’ll make the transfer process much easier.
Ok, I will try the two procedures and return to you as soon as possible
