Problem with logo and favicon

Hi everyone,

First off, the Vantage theme is great and the premium is very convenient, so good job on everything.

I’m new to web design so not sure if I’m doing something wrong on my end.

Basically I uploaded a logo without any problems whatsoever. I realised it was a little bit big and decided to upload a slightly smaller one. The problem is that, while it shows the smaller uploaded logo whilst I am logged into wordpress, it only shows the smaller one on all pages except for the home page when I log out i.e the original larger logo is still there when I click home.

Any ideas?

Secondly, I uploaded a favicon in a png file with the All In One plugin. Again, it shows the favicon fine when I am logged in, but the minute I logged out it goes away.

I decided to leave it overnight to see if it just took a while for everything to load, but to no avail.

Would really appreciate some help on this, thanks!

    Hi

    Glad to hear things have been progressing nicely. All In One favicon is our preferred plugin so nice one there.

    This does sound like a caching problem. Any chance you’re running a speed/performance/caching plugin and haven’t cleared the site’s cache?

    If not, then it’s possible there is caching happening on the hosting side of things.

    Thanks for the quick response.

    I’m not too sure to be honest, is there any way I can check if I am running a speed/performance/caching plugin?

    The thing with the logo was it was fine until I decided to resize it. I even removed the logo and started again but it still keeps showing the original size logo on the home page. As for the favicon, I have no idea!

    You’re running a plugin called WP Super Cache. Please try clearing your cache via that plugin’s settings. Most likely Settings > WP Super Cache.
