Hello out there! I’m using Vantage Premium Theme with PageBuilder.
Additionally I use a Simple Lightbox.
The Problem is, that when I use the Widget Image PB for showing a picture, the lightbox doesn’t show any caption/title. Only “Item 6 of 9” or similar is shown though all media is described properly (title, alt, description, caption).
Then again in some cases a title or caption is shown, but the lightbox would show all following content (pics,text) ,too, it’s a mess.
When i show images with another Plugin, that produces tiled Image-Galleries, captions are shown correctly.
It would be very very kind if someone could help me with some suggestion, here you can see an example:

The image widget that comes bundled with Page Builder is purposefully light weight. We have built a far more feature rich widget in our image widget bundle that lets you set title and alt text.

Seems the right way for starting all over.
Because: When I installed the widgets bundle, wordpress wouldn’t let me activate it because it would cause a fatal error. when i finally got to activate it, all my page-bundle-work just disappeared, fortunately not in the front-end.
so i decided to just deactivate it and the page-builder stuff was back.
what went wrong?
This sounds like a possible issue with the widgets bundle. Do you have access to your servers error logs? Would you be able to give me the error errors that occurred around the time you activated it and had a blank page?
Another simple alternative is to use Black Studio TinyMCE and just add a single image to each visual editor widget.

Somehow i think i found the cause of all the Trouble.
This is about a multi-language – site, I use WPML and everytime a picture is uploaded i gets duplicted from german (default language) to english. when it’s duplicated, all entries except title are empty of corse. the lightbox takes data from image description. now that we startet to translate, we filled the descriptions and suddenly there is a caption. great.
now my question: how can i tell Image PB that we have multi language here so that i can see my german descriptions in german version and english where it’s needed?

I had a chat to Andrew about this and he says people have done this in the past, but he never actually found out how. It basically comes down to translating widgets with WPML.
Could you ask the folks over at WPML if they could shed any light on this? Maybe they’re aware of the solution.
