Problem with [BTN…] tags

After some updates (not sure what triggered it), instead of text links showing up on the page (as before) I am getting links such as:

[BTN text = “Text” tcolor 555 bcolor = # = # = # FFF thovercolor 999 link = “/ something /” target = “_ self”]

I could go in and change them all but there are hundreds.

What could have caused this and is there a fix?

    Hi Rdecline,

    I’m not actually sure what added the btn shortcode, but it wasn’t SiteOrigin Page Builder. I suspect you were previously using a plugin that added this shortcode, I would recommend looking over your plugins to see if you can spot any important missing plugins.
