Problem Embedding Youtube Videos on Home Page

Yesterday while first building my site using the PageBuilder, embedding videos showed up fine on the home page and had no problem working. Later on that same day, they stopped showing up all of a sudden. I am wondering if anyone else has these problems and how they can be fixed. I use the PB embedded video widget but nothing seems to work now. Any help? They still show up on the other pages but nothing on the home page. Check out joshgander.com

    Hi Josh

Please try a few things for me:

    1. Ensure there are no updates pending at Dashboard > Updates.
    2. Temporarily disable all non-SiteOrigin plugins, any change?
    3. Try using this url for the video in the widget: http://youtu.be/J7css4d6o_U

I went through all of those steps, reinstalled the current version of the theme and still no luck. Why the videos are embedding fine on the other pages is confusing to me.

This is something I think I’ve come across before. It’s a reasonably strange issue that sometimes comes up when you don’t have any blog posts. Can you see what happens if you create a single dummy blog post then refresh your home page?

I tried that and it worked right away. Thank you for advice and help!

That’s a new one one for me! Thanks Greg. Josh, all the best for the remainder of your project.
