Problem adding link or category to main menu

Hi!
I just bought your premium theme last week and have enjoyed it with no problems until now. I have used many themes and never had this problem before. My laptop is using OSX MAC.

My simple problem: I am just simply trying to add new direct link or category page to main menu, but it does not work. When I click “Add” the feature gets stucked and it looks like its working but nothing happens like in few minutes, though it should just take few seconds to do that simple thing like it does when adding pages.

I havent got any problems with anything else related to editing menubar or single pages or the whole theme.

– I have tried with three different browsers and refreshed them too with no help
– I have tried to log out and in again –> no help
– my caches are disabled and all the plugins are working as well the site itself without problems

Site url: This is not public site yet, so that’s why I cannot give you the sitedomain

    Hi Petteri

If you have a lot of menu items, that could be the problem. More info: http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-fix-the-custom-menu-items-limit-in-wordpress/

If the above isn’t the case, try testing with all non-SiteOrigin plugins de-activated.

    Hi Andrew!
thanks for your advice and quick reply, but having too many items was not the issue, cause I only have 5 of them. Anyway my webmaster succeed to help me by deleting the old cache file from server. This really did not cross my mind first because my cache plugins were disabled. So, the problem was solved : )

Super! Really glad you were able to resolve. Server caching, who would have known. Thanks for the update and feedback on the problem.
