Is there an easy way to create a Price Table with a description column on the left hand side, without a title and the title background, with a checkbox in the other columns. I can’t work out how to remove the background on the left hand column and the columns do not line up when the column title is blank.

In theory it’s possible but would require Custom CSS development. The SiteOrigin Price Table widget does have it’s limitations. If you’re looking for a more flexible widget you might consider looking around at the other options out there: http://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=price+table.
