Hi all,
I’ve recently downloaded Vantage Premium and started changing settings in the Max Mega Menu that appeared. However, these settings don’t seem to be affecting my site at all! Please see the link to the site below (I just started at it so don’t laugh).

It should be noted that I removed all cache plugins and emptied my browser cache. No luck.

It looks like you’re still using the regular Vantage menu. With this in mind I don’t think the Max Mega Menu settings would be taking effect, at least not the design orientated settings.
MMM might require a child theme and a little tweaking of the Vantage menu file. Is that something you need a hand with?

Sure. Please, try the following child theme:

Download the ZIP file to your desktop.
Install via Appearance > Themes > Add New: Upload Theme.
Activating a child theme will result in Customizer and menu location settings being reset. Unfortunately, no way around this.
The child theme handles the integration with MMM.

I installed the child theme but it did not allow my changes to the MMM to been visible on the site preview. The theme was installed successfully and several of my menu setting were rest like you said.
What else can I do?
I figured it out. I needed to make all my menu items a Mega Menu. My changes are now working. However I still can’t change the header color! It’s grey and I want it black. Please help!
Super, glad to hear you made progress. Looks like you found the menu background color setting at Appearance > Customize > Theme Design.
I didn’t know I that window existed actually! I was changing the colors from Appearance>MMM>Menu Themes
However, could you help me with another issue? It seems to be exactly what this guy ran into…
Thread: removing space above and below Logo on Menu for for Vantage theme
I’ve inserted the snippets from this thread but they only got my logo and menu bar closer to alignment. However, they are still off. The logo is higher than the menu bar and I want them to be in the same line. Also, once this is figured out, is there a way to spread the menu buttons apart? They’re a little too close for my tastes. Thanks!
There’s something funky going on. When I remove the logo in Appearance>Theme Settings>Logo and set the Masthead to “Default” this appears

I have no idea where the “OST Dyno” text is coming from.
Alright, I figured out the weird text. I am still not able to get my logo to be inline with my menu bar.
It looks like you’re using a standard single level menu at the moment. Do you need to be using MMM? It complicates things a little so if you could default back to the regular Vantage menu it would things a lot easier.
Do you have a logo added at Appearance > Theme Settings > Logo?
