Hello – we have been testing the Vantage 2.3.1 upgrade on our stage system and are ready to upgrade our production system. No problem upgrading stage. When we went to do the upgrade on production, the vantage premium theme didn’t show as needing to be upgraded but was at 2.1.2.
I briefly seemed to fix the issue by deleting and then re-entering our order number under Settings > General in the main site (we are running multisite).
Moments later, the network admin interface agaom shows no upgrade eligibility. Do we need different order number for different server? It is not a live system…just for testing. URL has screenshot.

That sounds like a very strange issue. I’m not entirely sure why the updates weren’t showing properly on your production server. The only things I could guess are either a plugin conflict or possibly some sort of caching. Do you have any plugins (especially caching plugins) installed on the production server that weren’t installed on the testing server?
Your order number should work perfectly on both a testing and production server.
It is really strange and maybe it is a caching issue – I don’t know. Suddenly today after refreshing page, the upgrades showed up on stage and production. They didn’t appear on dev. – but took the below steps, got errors, finally was able to upgrade vantage on dev.
I played around with removing and resubmitting the order code in settings > general and with deactivating plugins. We have Wordfence Security but deactivating it didn’t change anything in our dev system.
Could you take a look at the process I took and the error messages I got before I could upgrade vantage on my dev system? I want to make sure that the errors we encountered don’t mean that something iin pagebuilder or vantage is corrupted or something. I continuously refreshed browser with shift > reload during this process.
1. Deactivated plugins – no change to vantage upgrade notification
2. Then tried to reactivate
3. Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class SiteOrigin_Panels_Widgets_PostLoop in /opt/app/wordpress/sites/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/widgets/basic.php on line 436
4. re-entered order code in settings > general – the upgrade appeared
5. Tried to upgrade vantage
6. Error: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature
7. update notification disappeared
8. Reactivated pagebuilder widget bundle, and retried to update pagebuilder. that was successful
9. removed and resubmitted order number – upgrade appeared
10. Upgrade Vantage – worked this time
