Thanks for your interest.
1. You can upgrade from free to premium from within WordPress. With Vantage theme activated go to AppearanceVantage Premium to upgrade.
2. Once you’ve upgraded the attribution link will automatically be removed from the footer. There isn’t a setting to remove the link from Vantage free.
3. I’d love to offer some advice here but, unfortunately, haven’t had any experience with directory plugins. This might be a good place to start your research:

Active installs are usually a good way of picking out the notable plugins.
4. We don’t at this stage. If we ever did it would be in the form of a plugin or widget, something theme independent.
5. Vantage free is responsive, the premium version contains the mobile menu which completes the theme.

Vantage is offered as a “pay what you want” upgrade. The recommended price is $15. You can upgrade from AppearanceVantage Premium within WordPress with Vantage Free installed, that’s the easiest way to process the upgrade.

Hi Felisha. We’re in the process of transitioning to a new model we’re calling SiteOrigin Premium. It’ll add premium features to our widgets, plugins and themes. I’m sure you’ll find it great value, it adds premium support too. The majority of features previously found in Vantage Premium can be found in Vantage Free which you can download from Appearance > Themes, use the search bar top right to search for Vantage. SiteOrigin Premium hasn’t launched yet but we expect to release it within the next week or so.
