Posts Page – Widgets not showing

Still loving Siteorigin. Onto my 5th website!!
I have made my first posts page but the widgets I have on the page (hero and headline in this instance) disappear from view and just the posts are visible.
Make it not the posts page and you can see them again

How do I create a nice headline on the Posts page please?

    So I have been able to create the page I want using a Livemesh plug-in widget. Is that the best way?

    Hi Roland

    WordPress doesn’t render content on the assigned posts page. You can un-assign the posts page from SettingsReading and then insert a SiteOrigin Blog Widget or any similar solution.

    Thanks, but if you do that I will no longer display posts
    As I say I have had success by the looks of it with Livemesh.

    Sure, at that point you’d insert a SiteOrigin Blog Widget or similar solution.

    I added the Livemesh posts grid widget to the page and left ‘posts page’ unselected in the homepage settings and then used standard SiteOrigin widgets with it on the page to complete it. Seems to work fine

    Any post loop solution will do the trick.

    Great, its not a loop but a grid that will show all posts in a grid form, making additional rows when necessary, much like the making it the posts page
