Post with visibility set to “private” shows up on main slider (Snapshot)

I am working with Snapshot. I have a slider displaying featured images from recent posts displayed on the main pages. The slider is displaying the image and the link to a post that is marked with visibility set to “private”. I am expecting the slider to respect the visibility setting. See the page at spokanevalleycameraclub.org. The featured image with link to “Brandan’s slideshow from the Christmas potluck” is the private post in question.

Note: “Recent posts” does not display the posts marked private unless one is actually on the private post.

    I’m not able to replicate on my local demo. Can you confirm you’ve checked the slider while logged out of your WP admin?

    Nevermind. It appears to be OK now.
    The other night I DID logout from wp-admin, and saw the post but cookies must have been left behind or cached files allowing the post to be presented.

    I swear I tried even opening a different browser (IExplorer and/or Firefox). Oh well.
