Post Previews on homepage appear as a blank grey square (Theme: Vantage)

Hi there,

I’m very new to WordPress, and just learning the ropes. Forum has been very useful so far, so thanks everyone ;)

On my homepage (Theme: Vantage), the ‘Latest Posts’ previews appear as blank grey squares. I have written 2 test posts, each with a small line of text and a picture, but they do not appear in the preview.

Can anyone tell me how to get a suitable preview up there?

    Thanks for running Vantage, glad to hear you’ve been making positive progress.

    Featured Images are used in many places, this is one of them. Here is a quick overview on adding them:
