My site has a Blog page which is accessed through a menu selection. It is suppose to show my recent posts using the post loop widget but no matter what kind of query I create none of my posts show up on the page. it is still blank. My posts titlkes show up in the recent posts list and when I click on them the post page shows up but I get nothing on my Blog page. Can anyone help me see what I am doing wrong? My website is at http://www.trentjperez.com
Hi Trent,
Try changing the Post Loop template. It’s possible the selected post loop template isn’t setup to output posts in this context.
If that doesn’t help, can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If the above doesn’t help, it could be an issue related to the post loop templates your theme provides. Try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related – you’ll need to select a different post loop template after changing.
