Post Loop Widget displaying sidebar on a “No Sidebar” page

I am trying to display the post loop widget on my homepage, which is set to “No Sidebar” and no margin below the header. When I added the post loop widget, it put a sidebar on my homepage overtop of my content. It also added the margin below the header. I think it is pulling up my blog page template, but I don’t want that. I want to have the post loop on the page without it messing up the look. Can anyone help me resolve this issue?
