Post Loop (PB) Widget query arguments

11 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 11 years ago

I would like to be able to display specific pages. I am assuming this can be accomplished using the Additional filed (additional query arguments) but I am not understanding how to select specific pages for display. Please provide some examples if possible.

Thanks

    Hi Norman

    It’s unfortunately not possible with Pages right now, hopefully soon! You can filter posts by category as follows:

    cat=x

    Where x is the category ID you want to filter. You can also filter multiple categories by comma separating ID’s.

    Thanks for looking into this.
    I have tried many of the page / post display widgets and your Post Loop (PB) has the most flexible and nice looking template display options I have seen (grid, circle icons, blog loop, etc). If you were to add comprehensive query capabilities the Post Loop (PB) widget would be best in class.

    For sure, it has been requested. The Post Loop (PB) widget will stay as is but we’re hoping to launch an alternative with more functionality eventually. Sorry I don’t have more news than that. I’ve run into this issue myself.
