Installer Post Loop Order By Random – Not Working
Hello!
I have been using your Vantage Premium theme for several months and it is a great multiple theme : )
But I have got this one problem (in title) every once in a while with it. Sometimes in some websites with several plugins everything is okay with your Pagebuilder and Widget Bundle – but like now I have this test site www.vantage.laurentium.fi and I would like to order my articles on frontpage with carousel slider in random order – but it is not possible.
The whole drop down menu is “broken/stuck” and when you try to click it to adjust (order by)- nothing happens and it just does not work.
I have tried all the basics like activate/ deactivate all the plugins, themes, and deleted all other plugins, but it just does not help. Please check my test site (http://www.vantage.laurentium.fi).
Any help, please : ) ?

Thanks for the wait. Not being able to access the Order By drop down menu does sound like a plugin conflict, most likely a JavaScript issue. When you tested for a plugin conflict, did you de-activate all non-SiteOrigin plugins at once and re-test the problem?

thanks for your effort on this. I tested it earlier and right now few minutes ago again. Still the same problem and I even deleted all other plugins; so I have only:
– Vantage Premium (updated theme)
– Page Builder by SiteOrigin (activated)
– SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle (activated) version 1.5.1
All other drop down menus and stuff are working, but for me the most important is not : (
I really do not know what to do with this one, because I have it running correctly for example over here: http://www.ekangasala.fi
Any suggestions/ advice/ help, please…

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:
[email protected]
Just navigate to Users > Add New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the “Send Password” field so we receive the details.
Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

I seem to be able to select Random Order. Here is a test page where I’ve set Random Order:

I’ve also set random for the first Post Loop widget on the home page.
Okay, so you just clicked to drop down -menu and it worked like it should?
…Because few seconds before writing this – in my case it didnt..
interesting…my friend (pro with these) also had the same problem like I, but he was able to change the order by clicking on mouse right button and then change it to random with the arrows on keyboard – if you know what I mean…

Mmm! Interesting problem. If you’re ok then I think let’s leave this here. If anything comes up I can re-look at the problem and hopefully replicate it.

Yes lets do that; I dont know if the problem is between the keyboard and the chair : ) Overhere I mean, but I think I can handle this one from now on….thanks again : )
